The Chapel of the Crucifix

This crucifix depicts Jesus in prayer: "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34).

The white host represents the daily rememberance of Jesus' sacrifice on the altar.

The crucified Jesus wears a painful crown of thorns with his kingly crown below the cross on a pillow that says "You are, O Christ, the King of Glory."

To the left of the pillow is a book the reads, "Love one another as I have loved you." (John 13:34-35)

Below the crucifix is the taberacle where the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus in the concecrated hosts are kept.

"What wonderous love is this? Christ laid aside His crown for my soul."
